The firm is headed by Managing Director Michael Crilly, a dual qualified barrister and solicitor who has been advising businesses and individuals since 1999. Background
Michael, a graduate of Durham University with post-graduate legal studies at the University of Northumbria (passed with Commendation), City University and the Inns of Court School of Law, was called to the Bar at Lincoln’s Inn in 1999. The same year he was a finalist and runner up in the Barclay Shield Inter Inn Debating Competition.
Michael is also a qualified and experienced teacher and lecturer. He has been a legal adviser to Business Link and has also delivered lectures and seminars on business law at the University of Northumbria Business School. He is regularly invited to appear as key note speaker at business conferences and HR seminar events throughout the UK by leading businesses and employer organisations. In his spare time Michael is also a trained classical concert pianist and he enjoys giving fundraising concerts, especially for such charities as the Teenage Cancer Trust.
